What documents must be submitted to sell the foreign currency held within my IRA?
You will need to submit a completed and executed Sell Direction Letter to Vantage. Depending on your foreign currency provider, a Vantage Investment Specialist will provide you with a list of additional documents that will need to be received in good order to process the sale.
What fees are associated with the sale of foreign currency from my IRA?
There is a $125 transaction fee to sell foreign currency within your IRA. Depending on your broker shipping fees may also apply. A detailed overview of all account fees can be found in the Fee Schedule.
How long will it take to complete the sale of the foreign currency from my IRA?
Once Vantage has received the Sell Direction Letter, funds and supporting sale documentation are received good order, your request will be completed within 2 business days. You can expect to receive an email confirmation once your request has been processed.
How can I send funds to my IRA?
Vantage will accept funds via wire, ACH, or check. When submitting funds electronically, reference our Incoming Wire, ACH, and Check Delivery Instructions to ensure proper identification of the funds when they are received by our office.
