What is the job? As the Accounting Specialist, you will use your super collection skills to make outbound collection calls and process payments to our clients’ accounts to achieve the team A/R goal. Show me the money! You report to the Accounting Lead, who will also include you in busy season tasks and quarterly projects to keep it fresh. Hope you’re good at juggling! We can promise you will never be bored, two days are never the same.

How you will be successful.

  • Make 30+ outbound collection calls per week
  • Maintain A/R goal
  • Timely completion of Accounts Receivable tasks

What you will do.

  • Deliver The Vantage Way service model at every interaction
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for client billing and resignation inquiries while documenting key points of conversations in SalesForce
  • Complete monthly and quarterly account statements including the calculation of interest
  • Manage data in software systems including:
    • Cash balancing of all client financial transactions
    • Coding and posting receivables
    • Process incoming and outgoing payments: cash, ACH, credit cards and wires
    • Process daily 945 Federal withholding EFTPS payments and reporting
  • Balancing of accounting transactions listings
  • Make outbound collection calls
  • Monthly internal and external audits and billings
  • Manage the A/R collection, resignation and liquidation process
  • Distribute daily/weekly financial data to VLeadership and Custodian every Monday
  • Contribute to completing operational quarterly projects
  • Provide training to new teammates preparing them for their new role
  • Be trained in other roles to deepen the infrastructure bench of our operation
  • Maintain Accounting Assistant Desk Manual
  • All other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred

You report to the Director of Operations who will also include you in busy season tasks and quarterly projects to keep it fresh. We can promise you will never be bored, two days are never the same.

How you will be successful.

  • To be as accessible as possible to our clients, you will field 100 incoming calls, on average per week.
  • Through knowledgeable client service and education, your incoming call quality score will be 90% or higher.

What you will do.

  • Answer each incoming call within the first two rings
  • Deliver The Vantage Way service model at every interaction
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for current inquiries by guiding them through transaction processes, policies while documenting key points of conversations in Salesforce
  • Accurately maintain, log and secure client documents
  • Initiate the client contact update process
  • Assist in the Fair Market Valuation process annually
  • Daily creation and mailing of new IRA account welcome kits, closed account letters, and resignation letters
  • Process return mail and forward incoming client mail
  • Contribute to completing operational quarterly projects
  • Provide training to new teammates in preparation for their new role
  • Be trained in other roles to deepen the infrastructure bench of our operation
  • Maintain Client Care Specialist desk manual
  • All other tasks as assigned

What is the job? Your main function, alongside the rest of the Investment Transaction Team, is to process the purchase and sale requests received on behalf of our clients IRAs. You will be doing the heavy lifting to process a variety of alternative investment real estate and private company transactions while staying on top of conversations between our clients, title companies and investment sponsors. What you will do.

  • Deliver The Vantage Way service model at every interaction
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for clients and their inquiries by guiding them through transaction processes and policies while documenting key points of conversations in Salesforce
  • Primary processor of purchase, sale and asset maintenance transactions
  • Conduct transaction follow-up, by email and outbound calls as noted in the transactions respective process while documenting key points of conversations in Salesforce
  • Monitor team email boxes, assist in saving documents in preparation for processing
  • Meet with clients face to face on specific transactions while serving as overflow for walk-in meetings
  • Answer in-coming calls from internal and external clients as needed
  • Initiate changes to checklists, forms, and/or processes to streamline a transaction
  • Contribute to completing operational quarterly projects
  • Provide training to new teammates preparing them for their new role
  • Be trained in other roles to deepen the infrastructure bench of our operation
  • Maintain Investment Transaction Specialist Desk Manual

  • Experience in either self-directed IRA real estate transactions; real estate loan processing; or title company escrow with an emphasis in real estate vesting, deeds or HUDs
  • Experience in business banking with emphasis on operating agreements and articles of organization
  • Polished and professional, takes pride in personal presentatio
