Hug It ForwHug it Forwardard is a non-profit organization that believes in the power of youth to change the world. The organization empowers communities to build “bottle schools:” structures built by kids using discarded soda bottles and other “waste” plastic stuffed with inorganic trash for wall insulation. The bottle school not only provides a solution to discarded waste in rural communities, but also provides much needed infrastructure for the school that in turn creates an education opportunity for the kids. Currently operating in Guatemala, Hug It Forward is focused on spreading this innovative eco-friendly bottle school technology to more countries around the world.
